Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the Bishop Cotton Boys' School Fee Portal ("the Portal"). By accessing or using the Portal you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Who May Use the Portal

The Portal is intended for use by parents and guardians of current students of Bishop Cotton Boys' School, Bengaluru. Access is granted via a registered mobile number. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and must notify the School immediately if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.

2. Accuracy of Information

The fee amounts, dues, and receipts displayed on the Portal are drawn from the School's financial records. While we take care to keep records accurate, if you believe there is an error in your fee statement, please contact the Fee Office before making a payment. The School is not liable for payments made against an incorrect balance that was not reported in advance.

3. Online Payments

• Online payments are processed by PayU Payments Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India. By initiating a payment you also agree to PayU's terms of service.
• Payments are accepted by debit card, credit card, UPI, and net banking as made available by PayU at the time of payment.
• A payment is considered complete only when a receipt is generated in the Portal. A successful PayU transaction reference alone does not constitute proof of payment — the receipt issued by the School is the authoritative record.
• The School does not store card details. All card data is handled exclusively by PayU on their PCI-DSS compliant systems.

4. Receipts and Challans

• Digital receipts issued by this Portal are valid proof of payment and equivalent to a physical receipt.
• Offline payment challans downloaded from the Portal must be paid at the designated bank branch within the validity period printed on the challan. The School is not responsible for challans paid after the due date.
• Do not alter the challan in any way. An altered challan will not be accepted by the bank or the School.

5. Prohibited Use

You must not:

• Share your login credentials with any other person.
• Attempt to access fee records of students other than those linked to your account.
• Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to interact with the Portal.
• Attempt to circumvent any security measure on the Portal.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Portal available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Portal may be taken offline for maintenance, upgrades, or reasons beyond our control. Planned maintenance will be notified where possible. The School is not liable for any loss arising from Portal unavailability.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the School's liability in connection with use of this Portal is limited to the fee amount directly in dispute. The School is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from use of this Portal shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka.

9. Changes to These Terms

The School reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Portal after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
